Im sure the idea is sound enough in theory, unfortunately it involves politicians and they always screw people over regardless.
I dont know enough about the whole thing to care tbh. I do my best to avoid politics. I like being Scottish but I also like being British.......... I also like to complain about you English and I dont think that would be as much fun with independence

Agree with the politicians never doing anything that doesn't help themselves massively.

I do keep wondering if Salmond is attempting to do a Tony Blair & get himself into the history books as "the saviour of Scotland" & then won't give a monkey's what happens many years down the road.

I wouldnt put too much weight into articles like that. All the tabloids / newspapers have agendas and stories always follow them.

He does give off that impression. He's never filled me with any trust. Im sure they will make a complete arse of the whole thing

well thats stupid and she deserves getting caught

the thing is 90% are doing gear in 1 form or another just that some arent getting caught

the IOC always talk about the drug problem just befoe a big event.....

Too expensive to test everyone so it will never be erradicated from sport until that happens

I was thinking the same while reading it. It would be awesome to know the stats, like for every one person they catch how many get past them?

do the ones that get caught just simply have a crappy 'gear team' behind them?

You just had to look at her to see she had/was using. Delt & trap thickness are always big giveaways & she was blessed in both  just like that other British female sprinter who got banned because she missed three tests by "accident". Yeah right. Woman looked bigger than most bodybuilding women [-X

I wouldn't guess its just crappy gear teams as they've been fiddling the system for years in one way or another. Lets face it if she got caught using Clenbuterol then its quite obvious that there are people out there still using it because there are ways to use it to pass the drug tests. I remember reading a book by a famous cyclist who laid it out as it was that professional cyclists/sports people pay thousands out in "medical" insurance whilst they are competing that year. :-k

Then again back in your day , and mine, I dont think we had food companies churning out such shit food. It really is shocking the way they bend the truth and go to such lengths to sell such nutrionally void crap as they do now.
